Shannon D. Scott completed a Bachelor of Nursing, Masters of Nursing (both from the University of Manitoba), a PhD in Nursing (University of Alberta), and a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in the Department of Pediatrics, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry from the University of Alberta. Dr. Scott worked as a pediatric nurse in medical/surgical and pediatric oncology areas. She has taught at the undergraduate programs of nursing at the University of Manitoba and currently at the University of Alberta in the undergraduate and graduate programs.
