This e-book constitutes the completely refereed post-proceedings of the 4th foreign Workshop on Computational Forensics, IWCF 2010, held in Tokyo, Japan in November 2010. The sixteen revised complete papers provided including invited keynote papers have been conscientiously chosen in the course of rounds of reviewing and revision. The papers disguise quite a lot of present themes in computational forensics together with authentication, biometrics, record research, multimedia, forensic device review, personality attractiveness, and forensic verification.

This publication constitutes the complaints of the 4th foreign convention on clever applied sciences for Interactive leisure (INTETAIN 11). The 20 complete papers, three posters, 10 demos and four workshops provided have been conscientiously chosen from quite a few submissions. The convention goals bettering the knowledge of contemporary and expected advances in interactive applied sciences, and their purposes to leisure, schooling, tradition, and the humanities.

3 Results We plot in Figure 7 results of the identification experiments varying the size of the hit list from N =1 (Top 1) to N =30 (Top 30). 2 and for the three identity modeling scenarios considered. We observe that, in general, working with the class information provided by the alphanumeric channels (top and medium plot in Figure 7) results in considerable better performance with respect to using a unique single identity model that does not exploit this information (bottom plot in Figure 7).

A machine expert for off-line writer recognition making use of textural features based on contour information has been built in this work. It is focused on discriminating writers by capturing the distinctive visual appearance of the samples.
Fig. 13. PCB monitoring system, and PCB monitoring results The second application field is detection of illicit drugs at customs checkpoints. A real-time monitoring mass spectrometry system is now used at every main customs station in Japan, and has become the main detection tool used, along with X-ray systems and detection dogs. It should be emphasized that this system has a database for many illicit drugs, and detection can be carried out using this database. MS/MS based on the ion trap method is an effective tool for identifying illicit drugs because fragment ions including structural information are easily produced by colliding illicit drug ions with helium buffer gas, which is followed by dissociation of the ions (Fig.
